10 employees suspended in Handwara | KNO

To ensure punctuality in Government offices, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Pir Muzaffar Ahmad today conducted a surprise visit to Municipal Committee Langate, PHE, R&B, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Education Department offices in Langat and Handwara areas. A special checking squad also accompanied the ADC. During the inspection, 10 employees were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties and were placed under suspension. A case in this regard has been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara for further recommendation. The ADC asked the government officials to remain present at their place of postings so that the people of the area do not suffer during winter months for want of redressal of their day-to-day issues.
